Clearly the vaccine is effective because deaths are not following cases nearly as closely as they were in previous surges https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/ last time they were averaging ~37,000 cases a day (December) they were averaging 500 deaths per day, and right now theyre at less than 40. Not great that its trending up, for sure! And I suppose well see in the coming weeks, but I just dont think case numbers on their own are huge cause for concern.
