What a crazy decade it's been

Right now the ending seems a tad underwhelming though there's still to many things to wrap up in only 2 more chapters.

I think with a strong ending it would have ended up as a top 3 Jojo part for me, but without that it's more around 5th or 6th.

Anyway I certainly enjoyed the last 2 years of them fighting Tooru and Wonder of U. It was certainly a stand ability worthy of a final boss, but at the same time with the way Part 8 was structured the fight just kinda came outta left field with no real buildup other than the doctors at the hospital were the ones pulling the strings behind the Rock Humans and the Rokakaka black market. But seriously I can't believe the head doctor was 89 years old!

Josuke himself is one of my favourite JoJo's the dude is a straight up stone cold killer and his love story with Yasuho was cute.

also kinda crazy to think the last chapter is gonna end in 1941 unrelated to everything that just happened in the climax. Well I'm sure it's related somehow, but we might not see those characters again at all. Maybe this really is setting up Part 9?

his age lines up with the new Joestar family tree for when Joseph was born

he got his wallet stolen in his introduction which also happened to Joseph in Part 2 when he met Smokey

His outfit also features horseshoes/stars of Joestars, and Soft&Wet head of Josefumi

I just somewhat recently got into Jojo. I'm in part 5(I think?) with Giorno. So my question, do stands ever get any further explanation as to their origin or anything at all really? I knew about them going into it, so I was surprised when the first 2 seasons didn't have any but instead Hamon, which I thought was actually pretty cool and well explained. But then they get to season 3, and all of a sudden everybody and their dog(literally) has a stand and there's just no real explanation or world building around them at all. I kept waiting, got through another season and nothing. So I'm just doubting it at this point.
