They're doing what just about everyone else does: thinking about themselves and what they want, just on a grander scale.

I think we're all guilty of that to some level. But a lot of us are in the position of the defeated and not the ones who lucked up along with their very respectable drive and determination. What I mean by that is plenty have their drive and determination but never hit the jackpot. Im not trying to take away that a whole lot of work and smarts went into it. It's just the difference between that luck hitting and not shouldn't have such lopsided results. Especially when the billionaires do everything in their power to make sure your luck doesn't interfere with them making as much money possible off their own lucky break decades ago. They will try to crush anybody who is trying to come up the same way they did if they can. Once you get up there you seem to get so detached from the people who would of once been your respected peers. And thanks to how capitalistic our country is, people actually respect this.

I'm all for capitalism but while everyone bickers about minimum wage im thinking there should be a maximum wage and anything earned over that is diverted to the empolyees in the form of a bonus.

Would give incentive to employees to try and make the product/service the best they can and mabye even advertise the product/service. Once more and more workers start turning out their best efforts perhaps companies will compete for the best workers which would mean higher pay to persuade them to jump ship.

Wishful thinkinh on my part I know. But if that did ever work out that would be real trickle down economics.

Government is doing a lot to advance space tech, actually. It's actually a public-private partnership. What these billionaires are doing couldn't be done without significant public funding and they know it. But technically they still have enough shares to justify being the ones taking this risk, so people generally just applaud that because it's definitely scary to be at the edge of science that way no matter what tbh.

Well when I say im all for capitalism what I mean is in all for people having the opportunity to sell a product and get super rich doing so. I do however wish there was some rules put in place to ensure the employees also benefit the more said product sales.

As for the topic at hand I don't really give a fuck. I dont care for the idea just cause someones rich they are obligated to help less fortunate people. Crack down on them evading taxes their tax money is what's supposed to help everyone elsw
