According to reports, Saban told the Texas High School Coaches Association's convention on Tuesday that Young, a sophomore, is due to make "ungodly numbers." While Saban wouldn't divulge the specifics of the deals Young has signed, Saban said the total compensation is "almost seven figures." NFL players make ~$20k a year off Madden. But 32 NFL teams compared to 130 FBS teams, and Madden also pays the NFL an exclusive license, of which the NFL pays some of that to the Players Union. But still, $2-5k a year off of something like a potential NCAA Football 2023 alone.
