I generally don't leave my bedroom windows open when I'm sleeping just due to noise but I'll leave others open if the temperature and humidity are right for it I do the exact same. I fortunately live in an extremely quiet and safe neighborhood, so I open up my first floor backyard windows (backyard is fenced in), and open up my skylights and my 2nd floor windows and let the house cool down overnight. By the morning, its like low 60s. I close all windows. When outside reaches like high 80s, inside reach mid 70s and I rarely have the central AC on.
