Ok so like a normal phone call is like this. A dialer calls a recipient. A recipient picks up the call and is always the first one to say "hello?" or some greeting.

On Teams calls, for god knows why, half the callers who call me say "hello"/greeting right as I pick up. As the recipient, one would think I'd be the one saying "hello?" first, as has been done since the invention of the phone call.

What is the deal?
