Don't care about some women not being attractive in games, but people need to stop pretending like it's some one-sided issue when every guy has like 3% body fat. Especially when it comes to movies. People just generally want to have attractive characters to look at, even more so in something like a game where you're going to be looking at them for dozens to hundreds of hours. That isn't a bad thing.

Yeah as said though. Those against sexualized females will just cry thats male power fantasy and they dont find all those shirtless men sexy

I don't like when the women are plain but the men are still buff, tall, and handsome. That sends the message that women can look however but men still have to be perfect.

Games that sexualize women usually try to make the men attractive too.

That pic of the MCU dudes is really dumb. One character is a high schooler, another is showing off how many people he killed, and another is being strapped into a machine to have his brain rebooted.

In games with the option to play as male or female, like assassin's Creed Odyssey, I choose the one with the better voice actor. In this case the female was MILES ahead of the male. It had nothing to do with clothing, as they both had the exact same selection of clothes.

... I really hate that 'Hat Kid' was the first character I came up with that wasn't either a damsel in distress (Peach, Zelda less so) or still somewhat sexualized like female Pokemon protagonists (I believe some of the anime writers said Ash's female companions were basically eye candy. Yes.)

Tbf, as far as videogames, you have a gigantic pool of protagonists to choose from with male characters. As opposed to the much much smaller pool of female characters that aren't shoehorned in as an option. You could definitely make the same scope of picture with average looking male protagonists, unlike women

I couldn't care less. Rather them make the character as it pertains to the story/world. I don't expect a woman to look good in every scenario.

Fair, but wouldn't the fact that the vast, vast majority of them are attractive only further the argument that an attractive female protagonist isn't some sort of anomaly in terms of protagonist design? If this were a discussion on representation that'd be different, but if we're talking whether or not the MC being attractive is anomalous to men vs women I'd think that doesn't change much.

Not a highschooler in real life and I think some people did go gaga for him. Or the meme about his ass has warped my memory. And winter soldier its just hes shirtless there. Its like they probably used that scene as an excuse to have him shirtless

Not that I complained about Dawn's short skirt and tendency to dress up like a cheerleader, but still..

Granted Pokemon has always been low-key horny if you knew where to look.

I mean, I don't wanna fuck Queen Brahn, but I'm glad she looks the way she does because that's the character that got designed, and I like that game. They can't all be Maleficent, sometimes you gotta have Malefi-Hutt.
