I tend to think it's mostly right wing dude bros as much as anywhere else who do the very things they actually hate and I'm probably not wrong about that. Politics are so dumb now anyways. People have no actual sense with their agendas.

Most widespread things lean at least a little left, since that's what most people are.

Conservative (especially American Trump style-conservative) is (increasingly) a minority and so don't get to be the major thing for a big site unless its something like r/conservative that can aggressively mod anyone who doesn't follow the dogma.

I would say the majority are left leaning.

I'm conservative, but that's not what's important. Whether it's old people watching Fox News and getting angry, or young people watching Jon Stewart and laughing and getting angry, the devil is heatin' his pokers and getting everybody riled up to reap the whirlwind. But love and compassion changes things for the better. Everything else is fuel for the fire, i.e., a worthless waste of time.

American "left leaning" is still hard conservative in most of the world. Obama was left leaning centrist but still on the conservative side of things overall with his military interventions, for instance.

I'm pretty democratic but the way politics are now I think it's gotten dangerous all the way around where sense has gone out the window. I think politics are silly because people are people and people should be able to realize that. The left seems to grasp that in ways. So does the right but they are so polarizing and real victims are suffering compared to a lot of what you see out there. The agendas have gotten to be annoying because it's not really the truth except it really is for some people. I get that much but when people are so blind they can't recognize anything else that's dangerous.

You need to speak in specifics. You're barely communicating any actual information.

THe way the world is the rich will always get richer it seems. People are out to serve themselves and their beliefs and create change that way and i get that's the purpose of politics too. But yet the people who are actually suffering still are on streets. People end up being subjected to a flawed system that isn't really helping them vs doing what they should be doing.

As wealthy as people have gotten, there are still just as many people struggling even with all the noise that is out there. That really aren't cared about. There are still people left to die every day. Because of people and their image of what they consider actual help in this world. They are getting paid. Other people are still getting crumbs.

And no it's not a meltdown. The stuff people actually assume as that here says a lot about people in general because it's not what I'm doing at all. Why it's not worth it. You are that stupid and wouldn't realize it if you were even told that.

Too many far right wingers are getting banned is why, especially the ones celebrating the insurrection on January 6 and downplaying on the virus by spreading misinformation and lies about the vaccine so that's why you see more left wingers here.

I fyou really watch what right wingers do and people do they just do what serves themselves. I get why because it's what they are taught is smart and survival of the fittest and yes progress is made but in ways taht aren't necessarily what works for everyone. They don't actually hear. The police for example have all these campaigns showing they are doing good on facebook to be transparent etc. Whether they actually really hear is something else though. There are still homeless people out there they don't give a crap about who are homeless for reasons they don't even comprehend and never would because it's their way or the highway..

The left can be just as terrible sometimes. They do the same things to serve themselves and are just screwing over the same people. It's survival of the fittest per usual. And they really do become more delusional the stuff they think and everything else.

It's like that cop who thinks oh they just heard something on the internet so they hate us. Do they really think homeless people even think like that? Or black people who think everyone is racist. That's not how it works. Or women who think it's only them who is subjected to nonsense.

It's crazy how many people out there really are in group think mode. Their judgements of people are telling too. Some people don't think like that at all and aren't making those ridiculous judgements and actually see things as they are. I'm not really right wing or left wing. Have a mind of my own. I get what goes on but some people I like to think are capable truly aren't and keep proving that. Whatever tree they grew from. They are completely incapable of realizing anything else. Which is really fine if it works for you. It doesn't make it any less insane though.
