Notorious Karen and Dog Walker, Amy Cooper, the white woman dubbed "Central Park Karen" who became the first nationwide Karen to be ridiculed when she called police on black bird watcher, Christian Cooper is now DEFENDING her decision to call police on him claiming he "appeared threatening" to her at a NYC landmark last year!!

She talked to former NYT writer, Bari Weiss and that since the viral video of her calling police surfaced she had to flee America and go into hiding as her whereabouts are unknown but is likely back in Canada where she was born

She said she was traumatized to the point she considered suicide

She said she was walking her dog alone in an isolated part of Central Park on Memorial Day when Cooper who filmed her calling police approached her on the north edge of the ramble and said "Get out of here, you shouldn't be here"

After he told her to put a leash on her dog, she refused stating he needed exercise and when she was about to do it anyway, he "threatened" her with "If you're doing to do what you want to do, then i'm going to do what i want to do, but you're not going to like it. I'm trying to figur out what that means? Is that a physical attack on me? An attack on my dog? What is he about to do?. Before i could figure out how to process this, he pulls out dog threats from his fanny pack and i'm like, what the heck is this guy doing? I look up and he's holding these dog treats in one hand and a bike helmet in his other hand and i'm thinking, oh my god, is this guy going to lure my dog over and try to him with his bike helmet?".

She was charged with one count of falsifying an incident report, a class A misdemeanor of 1 year in prison and 1000 fine

Amy was seen in hysterics calling police claiming the man was threatening her life and pulling the leash on her dog as it yelped

But Manhattan prosecutors dropped the charges against her after learning she was in THERAPY

She was fired from her job at an investment firm and became the face of Karens throughout the world as Amy sued her employers for firing her without due process and pinning her as a racist

But Amy maintains she felt threatened by a man as she was a lone woman out there and he seemed big in comparison and his demeanor kept changing and it scared her and would refuse to stop recording her

She is now seeking unspecified damages for race and gender discrimination against her former employer Franklin Templeton

She also cited another dog walker, Jerome Lockeett, a black dog owner who encountered Christian who said he was a "dick" and probably did "threaten her" and said "Sure, we're breaking the rules by having our dogs off leash in a park that has 80% of its area off leash hours but that gives that guy no authority to accost people in such a manner. My 2 fellow dog owners have had similar situations with this man, but don't feel comfortable coming forward because they're white. They think they'll be seen as 'karen'"

Cooper was earning 170,000 a year at her former job and is now unemployed..
