Well, that's by design. Do you know how hard it was to convince people that:

1] God exists and only talks to those old robed virgins who insist on talking in latin

2] That God told one of those sexless virgins that my family is chosen by God to rule over all the rest of you for all time

Then when people started to invent logic and reason, we started a series of secret societies that still control the world to this day.

And to answer my own question: It was very easy. People are hungry to give up their power and agency to someone in a shiny hat.

there are no grand conspiracies. they do it right in front of us. nearly all of your Congress, house and senate members are bought and paid for by various lobbyists and theres nothing you can do about it because youre a busy little worker ant. CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME
