Its less......whats the word im looking for.....schlocky?.....than the CW DC shows. And Luke Wilson is awesome.

I think the reason it's better than the other CW shows is because it doesn't have too much of the teenage drama romance shit.

People said the same thing about Black Lightning... whiich I still haven't seen yet (been saving it for a rainy day)

It will have crossover with some of of the other Arrowverse shows. But yeh its great. Look up Superman and Lois, its also kinda similar, small town, more serious, teen and powers, family stuff.

It was awesome first seasons, but it still felt more CW but not too much, sadly the end felt rushed.

Agreed. And hell, it's the only one of the DCTV shows that actually HAS Teenagers as the leads. Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, etc are all in the upper 20's or 30's.

Superman and Lois has been great too. They have Teen boys who get the stupid drama shit but they're not the leads so it's not too bad.

Wait, what? Had no idea it was that close.

And yeah, this was a DC Universe show. I think it was the last thing that service put out before it died. I was worried it was going to be worse, but I'm a little optimistic after hearing about Superman and Lois.

A big part of the appeal is just how hard they lean into the Golden Age shlockiness. It's not as depressing or moody as most CW shows, it's a lot more optimistic.
