I low-key trolled the casino I used to work at on Facebook, and they finally blocked me.

I did once when this ignorant nasty person said she was gonna check my references and get back with me. It was a phone interview and she was asking questions like a cop interrogating a criminal. Fucking rude as hell like she owned me or some shit. Talking to me like a dog.

Three weeks went by and I heard nothing. I asked the people who were my references if they heard from her, and they all said no.

So she was not only nasty as hell, but a straight up liar. I sent her an email even more rude than she was during the interview and spammed her linkedin all over the place and posted reviews telling people what an unprofessional lying piece of shit she is. You don't fuck with someone out of work with nothing to lose.

Once a family friend fired me because of something I had no control over. They knew it was BS but had to protect the company. He couldve went to bat for me, but he didnt.

When I saw him 3-4 years later he came at me like it was all love, and keep in mind during the below exchange, I spoke mid-hug, it went exactly like this:

You never thought a simple follow up email checking the status would suffice after a few days instead of waiting 3 weeks and handling things the way you did?

On the flip side, if this is how the company hires people, you are probably better off not working there.

I knew if she didn't check my references after nearly a month then the decision was made.

The way she talked to me on the phone then lying on top of it left me pissed off when I was already stressed because I was out of work and paying my bills with a credit card. Ended up filing bankruptcy during that period so I guess I snapped a little.

It's really not that hard to be respectful to people even if you think you're above them.

I came around once after I had quit as tech repair/sales/de facto manager, because they didn't wanna pay me for running the fucking store. It was a warzone, everyone I had worked with quit except for the managers, people were just walking out from waiting too long to get service.

Closed down not even two years later. Pay according to what you demand, assholes.
