So many people thought Guile from CC was Magus and still do. Guile WAS supposed to be Magus but the devs decided not to pull the trigger since CC had too large of a cast and it would not be able to make enough room to fully appreciate Magus' character.

People also thought Serge was Magus because Serge had blue hair like Magus. Schala, while stuck in the The Darkness at the end of time, was some how able to reach to Serge and people theorize it is because Serge is his sister.

The Entity in CT was the planet. I dunno how and why people debated this much for such a fucking long time, most were prolly trolling. The planet was a strong planet as it cheated its death. It created time portals and used the inhabitants(Crono and party) to literally find out that Lavos will destroy the planet and get strong enough to find a way to kill it.

And then finally there's the original timeline where they're in the Ocean Palace where all the Gurus and Janus get sucked into the time portals, the party isn't there to stop the Queen, Magus isn't there to stop them either. The Queen successfully summons Lavos to destroy Zeal and leave the planet super damaged, Schala is mentally broken.

Where did those two go? My guess is Lavos absorbed both Schala and Queen Zeal and left humanity to rebuild?

People said that the new ending in CTDS suggests that Magus was Guile even more which was dumb IMO. No way Magus would lose all his memories and powers and ended up becoming a street magician making bets with fortune tellers. Basically his role as Guile was too minor, which is a good thing they ended not making Magus become Guile.

One of the reasons people still think Guile is Magus I think is because of Lucca's letter. Then Guile having "........." as a response.

The Mastermune literally breaks the game. At that point your just skipping your 3rd characters turn and using your second to give Surge stamina.

Playing Cross right after Trigger is a wonderful experience. I did a topic on LUE about it and was surprised how well it relates to Trigger.

The Earth being the entity makes complete sense. The Earth, which created the gates in order to rid itself of the "world-parasite" Lavos, by having Crono and the other members act as its world-saving "anti-bodies".

You also see they use this similar story with FF7.

start a continue+ from the last save point of first playtrough and stack up materials.

It's good to note that there are two main antagonists in CC and they are enemies that have different objectives.

1. FATE which controls El Nido, the small world that is in CC. Lynx works for FATE. FATE's goal was to make sure time and space don't fuck up and will take extreme measures to insure this which includes killing and controlling a population.

2. The Time Devourer. Lavos and Schala combined and they are powerful enough to destroy everything including all space and time. The Dragon Gods works for Time Devourer.

The cop out end for CC was fucking horrible. The game blatantly and directly tells you everything that happened in CC was planned by Belthasar to empower Serge and crew to defeat The Time Devourer and save Schala, which is contradictable IMO. There's no way Belthasar planned everything, it's more like shit happens and Belthasar just adjusted to the situation the best he could.

Crono Cross was called Radical Dreamers before, and had nothing to do with CT .They retconed CT in later thats why theres hardly anything tying the 2 together.

Same thing was done to Mario 2. It was reskinned. So its just a mod. Lost levels is also a hack. So out of 4 mario games 2 are offical
