$1000 or you get to play Chrono Trigger for the first time again



If you've never played Chrono Trigger, you can't get the money.

If you choose memory wipe, you still will have played CT in the past. If you talked about the game to someone, they would remember that you played it.

However, you will not remember taking this deal and will insist that you've never played it.

chrono trigger honestly wasnt one of those games where i obsessed over it the first time through, i just had fun and thought it was good and fun. ill take the money and continue to be happy about it

The money

As good as Chrono Trigger is, part of what keeps it so vividly strong is the memories of playing it while younger. If I were to play SMB3 for the first time today, as good as it is, it wouldnt be as good as it was playing it for the first time when I was a kid.

Same would go for Chrono Trigger.

If CT was the best game ever it would be Xenogears, FF7, or Vanilla WoW circa 2003.

It would also be worth more than $1000 to re-experience those games (and WoW is impossible to re-experience).

Honestly I think I'd take the memory wipe just to really fuck with myself AND to get to replay CT with a fresh memory.

I have borderline photographic memory so I think it would be fun.

Hopefully I would stumble upon it and just be confused as fuck. I'd think there was some crazy timeline conspiracy going on (which, of course, would be accurate).

It's too entertaining to turn down. I'll trade my cherished CT memories for it.
