No idea, hadn't actually heard they were doing it since you know, not exact on top of the soda scene.

Basically everyone though Coke Zero tasted better than Diet Coke and it sold like crazy? Maybe the New Coke conspiracy from the 80's actually had some weight to it.

Also it's annoying that the cans are new but they didn't change the box at all, so you don't even know if you've got the new stuff until you open it. Or at least the box I bought is the same.

Can't agree! And I didn't actually expect it to taste different, just thought it was a new can, but the difference was immediate.

I cannot stress enough how absolutely little I would normally care about this to even bother making a topic at all. When I think of people making topics about soda I think of the ertyu Mountain Dew and it's embarrassing. It's just that much worse that I had to out of bafflement. We're talking, like, never buy it again bad.

It does look like there actually supposed to be new boxes that reflect the color of the cans so this must be hot off the presses if they haven't even finished converting to those yet.
