I still think Aquatic Ruin would be perfect if it wasn't slowdown-prone, but then, everything remaining has a problem with it.
Emerald Hill: inferior to Green Hill's nostalgia and Angel Island's lighting the fuck on fire. Chemical Plant: suffers from overexposure, too many deaths due to crusher-jank. But these are musically the 4 best stages*, so there is no issue with any of them!
