Back when I was active on Twitter a lot of them were already switching over to JustForFans, that was months ago. Or at least offering content on both sites because OF was starting to clamp down on "certain acts" in porn (eg no public stuff). So I think a lot of people saw this coming eventually. At the end of the day its gonna be OF losing out big not the performers. You even have celebs on there now who gave it even more profile, they can just all pack up and leave they don't need the cash.

The first line literally says they are getting out of the porn business. You can only post (solo) nude pics and videos. And even that is subject to "guidelines" which have been increasingly strict. OF is dead. Other alternatives are there to fill the breach anyways.

Block the users, and the creators earn zero revenue. Then the creators have to move elsewhere... again.

This for the most part, but with now many Celebs coming over to the platform (Cash Me Outside Girl reportedly made liek $1million on her first day) they don' want their 'Fans' (mainly young Teens) sliding over to the 'Porn' pages...

Oh well, hope they made their Money while it lasted...but I'm pretty sure another platform will arise in its place

I mean, how long is this cycle going to go on for?

Sex workers can migrate to another place, that place will see a surge in profits and popularity. Living in the capitalistic hellhole that we do, that company will seek even more profits but investors will tell them they don't want to put money into adult content, then we're back to where we are now.

There's clearly no interest from those with power to normalize sex work so sex workers will just continue to move around to new places every time they're forced out of their old home.

Banks, credit card companies and investors. I don't think I'd be surprised to learn the company that owns Pornhub lobbies different services in order to crush competition. There's no reason in this day and age that anyone would think not investing in these platforms or allowing financial services is a good business decision.

You could no longer work with other people that weren't OF verified content creators, and outdoor sex scenes were banned. Apparently all the changes they made were still not enough. Might agree with Jen here, there's something more going on.

Banks can block cards from being used on certain sites if they want. They were the ones who made PH remove all those videos

yeah, this is why I wouldn't buy the "we're protecting minors" excuse if that's what banks and CC companies are using. the requirements to actually post adult content on OF right now are the most strict they've ever been

This is actually what I came to say. I don't know why exactly this decision was made, but most of their earning isn't actually from explicit content.

Agreed. Only Fans having hardcore porn is pretty much like Twitter having a unlimited character limit, heck even worse in some regards. Because the primary reason users of only fans, as sad is it is, is sad lonely men wanting the "girlfriend" experience. And even with the mountains of delusion nessecary for you to pretend this, if you see "your woman" getting dicked down by another dude that is a deal breaker. It is pretty much why no one cares about Bell Delphine anymore after she filmed her lame, boring porno, not that it matters too much for her given her mad bank she has. Regardless, porn would f up what they are trying to do there
