We kept hearing stuff about how it was supposed to be 12-18 months MINIMUM for a vaccine, and you have Trump constantly saying weird stuff about it and going back and forth, nobody knew entirely how bad it would get and what a calculated risk the vaccine would be, etc. Plus you can be sure that people on the right were just as skeptical if not more. Righties don't understand the concept of changing your mind with new information or critical thinking, they just see everything that doesn't perfectly line up as lib hypocrisy.
