I'm just against putting all your eggs in one basket and being surprised/angry when the basket gets taken away. Yeah they'll gravitate towards a new site but thats not the main issue. The main issue is that they took all this time to build up them subs and likes and all that and now they have to go to another site and start over fresh. Whats the retention rate on stuff like that? Ms. 1 million subs would be lucky if 50% followed over but realistically it will be lower than that. I imagine its much harder to build a fan/sub base on OF vs twitch/YT. On top of that, OF or the like isn't really a long term sustainable revenue stream but I guess that's a bridge they have to cross when they come to it. It is what it is and when OF goes the way of ol' yeller then they have to pick up and start over fresh on a new site, they may wish they had a back up plan if they feel like the juice isnt worth the squeeze.
