Current Events > Corvo or Emily for a Dishonored 2 playthrough?

I'm inclined more towards Emily just because I think she'd be more interesting story-wise, but I'm curious as to whether one is just way better at Ghost/Clean Hands because that's what I'm going to do. A lot of Corvo's powers in the first game were utterly useless for that.

An AoE choke? That does sound fun.

Bend Time was pretty clutch in Daud's DLC though.

So you can temporarily freeze multiple guards then with another powerl ink them all together so whatever you do to the main one happens to all of them

From what I remember Emily is better for Ghost thanks to that chain ability she has. Tag a bunch of guards, choke one out and they all go down.

I kind of figured Emily would be less stealthy. I know her travel power is like a grappling hook and that just seems less stealthy than an instant teleport.

Yeah, one of the DLCs for the first one actually forces you into a fight and I realized I had no fucking idea how the combat worked beyond pressing tab to choke people lol.

Don't get me wrong: you can do stealth with either. Corvo just has skills that help you kill enemies better. For instance, I think one perk lets him disintegrate bodies into ash so they can't be found or something. Emily has stuff like Mesmerizing guards with some type of Outsider ghost (???) that lets you slip by and stuff. It's worth playing as both, especially through some of the best levels in recent memory (#4 and #7, IIRC).

No, I'm talking about a ghost that spawns and zaps (???) enemies and you can slip by them as they're in a trance. Both characters have some kind of short-range teleport. Forgot about the rat form, though, haha.
