Do you think his goose is cooked over this ban?

The hughly popular Twitch Streamer, Dr Disrespect who was direspected by the gaming streamer last year when he was given a PERMANENT BAN in June 2020 now knows why he was given the boot and is now SUING the platform!

His real name is Herschel Beahm IV and signed a 2 year exclusive contract with the Amazon owned platform who had 4 million subscribers.

He moved to Youtube where his channel sits at a not so impressive 3.46 million subs and posted a video talking about the ban finally and why he was banned.

He begins by saying "I make probably a fourth, a quarter of what i was making on twitch. A year later from being banned from the platform, well, a lot of people think, hey doc you did good, you're incredible. Look, we've certainly tried to maximize the most of what we have to work with but with the twitch ban, how it's really affected us, not just from a financial standpoint but from a networking standpoint, in terms of relationships we've built over the past 5 years, in terms of Activision and EA, everyone all the big sponsors the partnerships, they have to question, why did you get banned?"

The reasons are still unknown for his ban as speculation to his final stream being cut was when he referenced conspiracy theorist, David Icke, the man who thinks the british royal family are lizards.

But he says he knows the reason why now and he's known for months but doesn't say why other than he says he's going to sue the f*** out of twitch and he doesn't know else to put it and the damages he's asking will be ASTRONOMICAL

Herschel says twitch did massive damage to his career and the earning potential he could have had now and wants payback after NIKE dropped him as well. He said it's ruined his name and his business but he does make one cautionary note..that it MAY NOT GO TO COURT despite interested fans wanting it so they know the answer but he ends it by saying it f***ing sucks what's happened to him..

Do you think his goose is cooked over this?

I do not like main stream twitch or youtubers but I can say I never liked that man. ever. I used to watch twitch compilations and would always skip over his clips. He is one of the most vile and annoying person and I have been coming to THIS website for what feels like 30 years.

I remember hearing about this guy when this stuff was happening... But now I do kind of wonder what happened... Anyway, without knowing the reasons, I can't say whether he has a good chance or not. But considering he has told fans, and said it may not go to court, it doesn't look good... I guess it's whatever to me since I didn't even know of him before people talked about him on this site...

he legitimately broke his twitch contract by trying to see how much mixer would give him to switch

like he can sue if he wanted to, but he is the one who broke his contract

I don't see how he could sue in that case, he wouldn't have grounds if he broke the contract.

You can always sue. The only question is whether or not the court you file the suit with laughs at you.

he already gave himself an out

basically his tactic, like usual, is to get his fans mad at twitch in an attempt to get twitch to revert their decision

I mean a case can be thrown out before it's ever heard, so if you sue someone and the judge thinks the case is completely bullshit and ridiculous he will just throw it out.

This is rare, because suing people costs a good chunk of money and that usually keeps more legitimate stuff coming in. Threats of suing are also far more common than actual lawsuits, so I will believe he is suing them once it happens.

By not go to court it means settle out of court, settlements of that type tend to have nondisclosure agreements.

that's not exactly how it works if you file a suit

it still has to go through court in some form

He should just say what the reason is. He probably won't tho because he knows he's in the wrong and is hoping twitch wkll settle outside of court.

Breaking an exclusivity contract doesn't sound like it would result in a ban. Twitch has a lot of streamers who have no contract at all. If he broke his contract, it would just make him a normal user.

the threat of a platform ban is literally what deters people from breaking their contract otherwise there's no punishment for doing so

Very true. Just look at Devin Nunes, the SLAPP King. That guy is so thin-skinned that he will sue anyone who says anything bad about him.
