Agree with TC. And if you are married and you flirt around, you're a sad and lonely fool. If you think it's ok to flirt with friends, you are an ignoramus.

And if you think it's ok to tell one girlfriend about another, you are a total clown, in case you were wondering why you never get back the ones you tell about.

And if your parents, bosses or children flirted with other people, they would have to go to jail. They would be labeled as criminals. If it was in a movie or on a TV show, they would be labeled, laughed at, arrested and possibly locked up. And your parents and children would be labeled in the eyes of society as being fools for flirting. But because it's not in a movie or on a TV show, you are allowed to sleep around, and you can justify it by saying that you would want to sleep with them if you weren't already married.

And if your friends flirt with people, well then it's really your call.

Being insecure and jealous isn't a healthy way to live. I'm poly and quite enjoy the occasional bit of flirting with friends that'll go nowhere. Like, I won't flirt with someone if they establish that boundary but if they're receptive or even initiate it I don't have any reason to not do as I please.

Being polyamorous isn't exactly a healthier way to live either considering STI/STDs exist, people are possessive by nature and can develop jealousy quite easily which can lead to conflict and instability at home and Covid is yet another risk factor when meeting and interacting with people these days, especially if you are intimate with them. You can do what you want, but you aren't living a healthly lifestyle by doing so either compared to those who are in a commited monogamous relationship.

Yeh. Besides, this poly person has been staying at home and not meeting new people for the duration of covid.

Yep. Heck, it's probably time for another sti test for me because I did hook up with one friend who had, herself, just been tested and came up clean. But still helps to keep recent with my own stuff in case I start to see someone new.

I know more monogamous people who have had 10+ partners in a month than poly people.

6 years with a xbox? Ew. If you aren't smart enough to come up with a nerd / incel insult that isn't cliched you could just not say one at all. Anyway, more regular sexual partners means higher risk of infection, period. Protection mitigates the risk of transmission but it is not 100% foolproof. Regardless you just didn't like what I had to say and all I can say to that is get over it.
