Normally I shoot for PC, hands down, whenever there is a choice. Tales games however have a history of being crapily ported to PC (or being built from the ground up on Consoles and then being developed on PC afterwards and releasing on the same date).

This being said, I'm nudging towards the PS5 version. The Haptic Feedback on the controller will be a plus. My other concern is if my 1070ti will be able to max the game out. I more than meet the requirements for the recommended settings (not the minimim, the recommended) but I definitely want this game to shine as it does in the trailers.

All in all, it's a win both ways, assuming my pc can handle the maximum graphic fidelity, but I'm curious what yall think. Hit me up

get ps5.. when finished, sell the game and eventually buy to keep the PC version unless the port really, really sucks(somehow doubt it)

Any particular reason you lean this way? Or is it simply because I can sell it afterwards, where-as with Steam I cannot (and then buy it again later on Steam if I want to play it again maybe)

ps5 version now to to stave off any worries about a potential bad port or performance issues because of lacking hardware.. ps5 > 1070ti but i doubt a jrpg of all things is gonna bring the 1070ti to its knees though ToA does look pretty.

as for the long term the ps5 is gonna be obsolete some day and who knows if there will be a ps6 or if it will have ps5 BC so if you're gonna keep a game permanently, chances are the PC version is a safer bet.

Probably gonna roll with this plan then, that being the first paragraph, and then the second paragraph. I'll get ps5 for now. Longterm, I may ultimately grab the Steam Version. It'll really depend how good of a Tales game it is. Berseria will be hard to beat for me. Thank you for your thoughts!

And god I hope there is a character as awesome as Magilou.
