Yeah, Ohio State is being pantsed right now. Offense and defense being exposed massively. Offense has no rhythm and can't play from behind. Defense can't stop anything, especially not the run game. Just getting embarrassed.

28-14 now.

Yeah, they aren't good. Granted Oregon is doing a great job with play calling, but Ohio State has giant holes on almost every play.

Big Ten not looking great this year.

If I told you Ohio State's defense was always this anemic, would you believe me? Their play style with Fields was to build a massive lead and sit on it. Stroud is too inexperienced to pull that off, which means the defense has to actually PLAY instead of PREVENT.

Well, our offense seems to be improved. The issue might be our defense, although this might be a different game if we haven't had two QB fumbles deep in our own territory, so who knows!

At least we're still in the game.

ESPN's Gamecast is confusing me because it said we had the ball at the Pittsburgh 5 and then suddenly Pitt just punted, but they never mentioned anything about a turnover

Not even close. Virginia isn't ever great but they're good enough to eek their way into the rankings occasionally. They'll then proceed to throw that away, but still.

They were in a bowl game just two years ago. They haven't been in the top 25 for a decade, but aside from a few weeks in 2019 and one week in 2018, neither has Virginia. They might be a little better off than Illinois, but not by any significant margin.

I dunno. I guess their record was worse than I remembered over the past decade, but also only Illinois bad for like 2 of those years. They were more often the team to barely miss a bowl qualification.
