I mean, I'd have legitimate concerns that she'd lose her job if nothing else.

However, this question is pointless because I already know her intimately. The whole point of a red flag is making a snap judgement, which might well be wrong, based on limited information. The information I have about her isn't really limited.

They literally are lifestyle choices though. It's a choice the individual has made, something within their control.

Also, I'm sceptical of your claim of no correlation. I wouldn't claim cause and effect but there definitely seems to be correlation.

Responding to this because you added it in an edit to the original post.

I can't speak for all the others who said 'red flag' but I feel like over the course of this topic I've been very clear about what I mean by it. All I mean by it is that my first instinct when I see somebody with an unnatural hair colour is that they will probably be boring (to me) .

I've also been clear that it's not conclusive, it's just the initial thinking, and it's based on prior experiences. Not sure why you find that so offensive, to be honest.

I get judged for having tattoos, for having long hair and probably loads of other things. And you know what? That's okay.

Ig this where differ in perspective. I find it unacceptable and silly to have red flags from things like tattoos or hair color. Granted, Im a black guy with an afro in the finance world and in a predominantly white city. People making assumptions about me over aesthetics piss me off.

I dont do it to others as a result. Hair color, tattoos etc tell me nothing. Actions are where I find red flags.

I also dont think what you described is seeing red flags. So Im thinking I have no beef with you. I apologize if I misinterpreted you.

Understandable. I also feel strongly that people shouldn't be judged on physical attributes that they don't control, but I also feel hair colour (when dyed) is a choice just like my having tattoos was (that one was a bad choice, though I'm not saying it is for everyone).
