He ends up deleting all his social media accounts and going quiet from public. After that people find out of the identities of the other people in the video including you and start harassing you. You find yourself bombarded with people insulting you and asking why you're friends with sexist jerks and not attacking him. Searching your history for anything you said they can use against you. Proud boys and alt righters with Trump and Ben Shapiro avatars start sending you praise, support and solidarity as one of them. Your work is concerned about taking a PR hit due to association with you and ask you to publically distance yourself from your friend. Do you stick up for your friend or distance yourself from him? Do you try to fight or appease the brigade harassing you or just ignore it or delete your accounts? How do you react?
