EchoBaz 09/03/21 9:32:43 AM #1:	It's been a while since I've asked this. I figured that I'd ask it again. Do anyone know of any tv shows that are straight up anti-cop? Not shows that exist in a magical fantasy world where there are bad cops, with "good cops" exposing them, and bringing them to justice. Not shows like The Shield or The Wire where the message is that the ends justify the means. Not shows like The Sopranos where the main characters are scumbags anyways, and the cops are just sorta incompetent. I'm looking for a show that straight up is willing to say that All Cops Are Bad. I'd prefer it to be written by people who are able to explain why it's literally impossible to be a good cop because the way the system works, but I'll gladly settle for anything that is willing to say this because I just really wanna watch a show like this. Oh, and I'm very aware that movies like this exist, I've seen them, and they are amazing! I'm looking for a show though, not a movie. --- Unless you're loaded, save your money, and wait for sales. Acknowledging the corrupt, abusive nature of most police departments in the real world is something TV tends to shy away from, mostly because said police tend to be pretty good to the media corporations that produce and filter the shows. --- This is my signature. The bad cops are just being bad, and I'm not sure some of them get any comeuppance except from the heroes. It's a great job if you wanna join a gang. Plus you get health insurance. Eh, I can see it being done on a show that's got a low budget, and on a streaming service. I can also see it opening the door to more shows like it. Movies like it exist. Jim Gordon helps ferret that shit out and he actually causes a reverse in the department.
