I'm considering buying a Pixel 4a which should have 2 more years of security updates. I plan on using it longer than that if I can, though.
Is it a big deal if you continue to use your phone when it is no longer getting security updates? --- It's just that bird law in this country-- it's not governed by reason ... Copied to Clipboard!

I upgrade regularly because Im a loser who likes phones, but I dont know how important security updates would be if I were to hold on to one. The sort of risks that are fixed seem so obscure sometimes that I wonder how at-risk I really am. I dont do anything special with my device and dont really take too many security risks, so idk.
