33 y/o Former Whacko Marine, Bryan Riley said he showed NO MERCY to a family of 4 he randomly killed, including a BABY and a DOG because GOD and voices in his head told him to kill them!!

The Florida Victims of the massacre were revealed as 40 y/o Justice Gleason, 33 y/o Theresa Lanham and their 3 month old son, Jody.

They were all shot dead by a marine with "PTSD" who opened fire in their Lakeland home at random after telling his own g/f he was having "mental health" issues.

Riley got into a gunfight with police when they arrived but then surrendered unarmed.

Police say they surrendered like a coward rather than to shoot it out to the END.

Inside police found Theresa and her baby's body lifeless with gunshot wounds. a 62 yo woman who was the baby's grandmother was also found shot dead inside as was the family dog.

An 11 y/o girl was inside who was also shot SEVEN times survived and is in hospital.

He appeared in court with 17 charges, 4 counts of first degree murder, 7 counts of attempted first degree murder of a law enforcement officer and 2 counts of shooting into a building and 2 counts of armed burglary and second degree arson and is held without bond

Sheriff Grady Judd said the former marine was a "coward" who surrendered to them rather than shooting it out with police and said he held his hands up and came out so they couldn't kill him

He said "It would have been nice if he'd come out with ag un..if he'd given us the opportunity we would have shot him up a lot but he didn't. He's a coward. YOu see it's easy to shoot innocent children and babies and people in the middle of the night when you've got the gun and they dont but he was not much of a man"

Riley's gf of 4 years was cooperating with police as they are trying to determine a motive.

He's a survivalist who had been making METH as well who also drew glow sticks along the path in an attempt to "draw" police into an ambush

Riley, a US Marine and sharp shooter who served 4 years in afghanistan and iraq before being HONOURABLY DISCHARGED suffered PTSD and had a job as security guard. He told police the man and his wife were begging for mercy to spare their lives but said he showed none and shot them at point blank range, including the baby because voices were in his head telling him to kill them.

Should his "mental health" prevent him from getting the death penalty?

Yeah that was odd. Though just killing him in the shootout would have saved everyone time and I wouldn't have lost any sleep over him dying

Even if he somehow gets a valid mentally incompetent ruling, he's not gonna have any quality of life in a mental institution and it'll be years before he'd be able to get out, and only under intense security.

But since he was doing meth, that's almost certainly out the window even if the man was clearly disturbed long before this tragedy.
