My Morrowind topic got purged. Wanted to thank the people who suggested OpenMW for me. No crashes yet! I'm going to start a new game. Gonna make a Dumner Thief Enchanter and break this game.

So you took the plunge and installed it. I haven't actually tried it yet myself, but there's no reason not to use it if you don't use many mods / any mods it doesn't support (the number of which is gradually decreasing). It's apparently not a million miles away from parity with the original engine, and has various improvements built in.

Welp, played all day after work. Did nothing but mod it just enough to where I like and also finally learned how to enchant. With a million videos of tutorials out there teaching you how to properly enchant, I still didn't completely understand it until I did it myself. And it takes a LOT to enchant properly.
