Emma Stone is actually quite plain and average in the looks category which is prolly why so many people on this websight find her attractive. She's isn't insanely hot like Kate Upton or some other super model. Super models don't usually attract nerds because they are unreachable where as average looking Emma Stone and Pam from The Office are regarded as super attractive because there's the illusion that they are some how more obtainable.

Honestly she wasn't portrayed as a "good guy" in this movie. It seemed more like a revenge plot with a morally gray protagonist. I don't think at any point the movie tried to make the point that what she was doing was "good". Definitely better than Maleficent in that regard.

The way the movie ended gave the impression that the plot of 101 Dalmatians could still happen. Especially considering the fact that she joked about skinning the dalmatians for clothing more than once in the movie and she did end up with the dalmatians at the end, making one bad day to turn her "joke" into a real motive, likely giving the puppies to Roger and Anita so they can eventually meet and create a bigger supply of dalmatians.

I think this Cruella-verse is set in a different universe from the original 101 Dalmatians universe where she was portrayed as an evil villain. In this universe, this movie and the coming sequel will have Cruella be the hero who doesn't want to skin puppies. The sequel will probably push the Baroness into that role, and Cruella/Roger/Anita will stop her.
