If someone calls out to you or says your name, make sure you make visual contact on who it is before responding. No matter how familiar you are with the voice. Sounds like your mom is saying your name from your back? Turn around and see if it's factually her before vocally responding back.
Why you ask? Because it could be a spirit trying to talk to you and they want your attention. Giving attention to ghosts and spirits only empowers them. Ignoring them will make them leave you alone.
