Save for All Through the House, it sucked. They were all boring and felt like a whole lot of nothing.

Pretty much agreed. I liked S1 more than I didn't and hoped s2 would refine it, but sadly, no.

Yup S2 was trash. I wish S2 was a continuation of S1 so we could get more of the characters from S1.

Yo I just started it last night. Pop squad isn't half bad. Thought they could squeeze out an 8 episode series out of the premise. The design on the ep 1 is weird af. The main character looks straight outta horror movie. Ep2, eh

I still enjoyed season 2. Perhaps a little less. Not sure if the episodes weren't as good or if the novelty wore off a little. Still there were some good episodes. Automated customer service was some fun good stuff. Pop squad with the population control / live forever was an interesting concept.

The giant one was...weird. just...weird. That one, the ice whales, and the tall grass were the weakest episodes for me.

why? Season 1 was mid the whole way through
Still entertaining throughout. This one never actually did anything with their concepts.

Like, the one with killing the children? Fantastic concept that went to waste. Why are they killing them? How did this even start? What does living forever have to do with killing kids? Why did the main character change his views? Why was his partner there at the end?

I was also excited. Watched the first episode of season 2 [the house robot vacuum cleaner]. Immediately killed my hype and I haven't watched since.

This was all explained either explicitly or implicitly.

1. Everyone takes enhancements that end biological death. Birth would lead to overpopulation. Resources would go to children instead of rich people living luxurious lives.

2. He felt guilty after killing the kids in the beginning and especially what the father said and his death. His girlfriend saying she would want his kids if it was legal made him rethink things too.

3. The partner was following him because he went off on his own investigation. He was almost killed so she was concerned.

Pop Squad, Snow in the Desert, and The Tall Grass were all decent watches, but yeah the one you mentioned was probably the only really good one. Its a shame because while I liked season 1 it was something that needed to be built upon, not falter in its sophomore outing. Oh well, hopefully they can right the ship with Vol. 3.

Here's hoping, I'd like these to be as good as it can be.

Season 2 was a lot smaller in scope that season 1; I wonder if more was planned but it got cut back for covid or other reasons

I assumed that they split up season two so they could release them a year or so apart, and not have as big of a wait between seasons.

I liked the second season overall. I dont think any of them would make it into the top five for me, but all of them were at least decent in my opinion.
