I'm not sure of the exact name since I've been watching on its YouTube channel. What I've learned so far:

1. A lot of people try to smuggle in thousands of cigarettes and can get arrested for doing so.

2. They have a machine that can tell if a swab has narcotics on it. If you've ingested balloons full of narcotics, used narcotics recently, etc., you can actually sweat it through your pores such that a swab of your shoes can test positive.

3. Some people come in on a student visa and never attend class and get deported if they caught.

Pretty cool show so far.

Have you guys ever been stopped by customs on an international flight? I did once since, but it wasn't serious or anything. I landed in Paris and had to catch a connecting flight to Bordeaux. I was running to catch the flight and some airport people randomly stopped me, briefly asked where I was going, asked if they could search my laptop (I wasn't carrying much on me). I said sure since I wasn't hiding anything. I don't remember it taking too long, and they let me go on my way.

An interesting twist on the UK's version of what we have as Miranda here in the U.S. is, when they're arresting you, they tell you that you don't have to talk. However, unlike in America, if you don't answer their questions, they can use that against you if you try to use something they asked about in court later. Something like that.

It's like having the right to remain silent and not having it lol.

So many people will try to bring like 4,000-10,000 cigarettes through and get pissed when they seize them lol.

Basically you have the right to remain silent until officially questioned in custody but anything you do say before that point can still be used in court.
