The showrunner of this revival was the original showrunner of the first 4 seasons of the OG series, so before it got bad. This and this great trailer makes me actually have a bit of faith in this revival. This showrunner is the one who wanted the series to end with Dexter about to get the lethal injection, and the witnesses were all of the people he killed over the years in the show.
