It's very innovative with the cast, but we also really don't need so many damn different characters. Red didn't need to be playable. Lulu didn't need to be playable. Pyoro, 5-Volt and Master Mantis didn't need to be playable.

The gacha stuff and gift-giving to increase crew levels is enough to keep coming back to for awhile. As soon as I unlocked it, I just thought "oh no"

I'm loving it. The huge number of playable characters is great.
Honestly I think it's awesome that they're really leaning into the different characters specifically since I feel like WarioWare legit has the strongest cast of any Nintendo series. They're all so fun and unique and creative.
