to me its great buy the season 8 finale was terrible imo, it was supposed to be the end of the show but so many people complained so they are adding another season

What do you like about it? I thought it was supposed to be a chick-flick style murder drama. Is that the case? No hate on you if it is.

It's been like 5 years or whatever since the supposed series finale. Everyone thought and hoped the show was dead and buried.

And uh no lol, not at all looking forward to S9.

I'm looking forward to it.

I don't care what y'all say; Dexter is good stuff. That finale sucked, but I can say without a doubt, unlike other finales, it doesn't ruin the show for me. I loved all of it besides the finale, and perhaps a few plot points of season 8 here and there.

I'd like to believe, at it's worst, this season plays it a little too safe, and perhaps can serve as a better finale than what we got. Honestly, I wouldn't mind just a safe approach of something where a big bad kinda looms in the background, but it's moreso like the first season where he basically has a villain of the week to go after. It'll be fun.
