Edit: the title was suppose to be I got a jury summons Again! But it removes my ellipses if I dont space them in the title --- Official King of Kings Switch FC: 7216-4417-4511 Add Me because I'll probably add you. I'm probably the LinkPizza you'll see around. ... Copied to Clipboard!

ok, i googled it and while it varies from place to place - you actually can receive like infinite summons since it's completely random, but if you do serve on a jury you get a 1 year exemption.

I learned two important lessons from the time I did jury service: (1) bring a good book with you, and (2) seeing how the system works close up will seriously dent your faith in it.

I got lucky. They removed the case from the jury docket. Stand since I. Already missed half the work day and put in the time off request, I guess I have a free day off. That said, I think I was right about how quick the summons arrived. Last time I form it super early. Like a couple weeks, at least. But IIRC, it was definitely a whole before it was suppose to take place. This one, I got last Friday. So, 4 days ago. And when I called today to see if I had to go, at the end, they said that all requests for exemptions and disqualifications had to be addressed in writing at least 7 days prior. And that would be hard to do if you didnt get the summons until 4 days prior
