Hey a non-troll topic from you.
I prefer hostels when solo but I've used them quite a few times when traveling with friends or girlfriend. I've never had a bad experience, always found decent prices, and never been canceled on. Ive rented cabins a bunch of times and only ever got what was advertised.
One time my friend rented an apartment that was supposed to be 3 bedroom but it was only 2. He got a refund after a bit of hassle --- Honey, here's a quarter. Go put it in a washing machine... ... Copied to Clipboard!

I own an Airbnb
If I cancel on a host they take $100 from me the next time I host. I've Airbnb'd tons of times and no one has ever cancelled and it's always been 100x better than a hotel --- Suffering is expecting things to last forever ... Copied to Clipboard!

Cancelling an air bnb reservation, as a host, is a death sentence to a host.
