I saw the commercial for it but it shows very little so I dont know anything about it except it looks interesting, im guessing La brea stands for Los Angeles Brea but i may be wrong

I was just at the Tar Pits a few weeks ago!
"La Brea" means "tar" in Spanish. The La Brea Tar Pits are not in La Brea (which is a different city but does indeed mean tar in Spanish) and dont have any tar. (Its actually a different substance.)

The La Brea Tar Pits is an excavation site, a museum and gift shop. On special days, you can even watch staff excavate and clean anything they've found. As an enthusiast of prehistoric animals, I was taken as a kid. I took my daughter there for her birthday once. Unfortunately because there was road construction, she didn't make it to the viewing.
Would also suggest making plans for other day trips, such as the L.A. Museum, or Zoo or something, because its a very small museum. Its neat though. --- 2DS FC tempest 1478 9807 1205 ... Copied to Clipboard!

imagine you go to some nice park with little and big ponds scattered everywhere, with water.
