I am around it a lot more often than I'd like to be, that is for sure. The people who listen to this garbage really do try to peddle it hard. I'm sure its just another childish fad they'll get over soon, but damn I cannot wait until they do.

Maybe the upcoming pumpkin spice crapfest will get them distracted. It'd be a major win for me if they'd swap the soulless music for a pretty decent flavor. Pumpkin spice never objectified a woman, even if some of us do catch a lot of shit for liking it.

Objectification of women exists in various genres of music and from singers from various countries. You've shown no evidence that kpop is any worse or better than any other music genre/country of origin. If anything, with you generalizing kpop and not critiquing objectification in music in a more general sense you're the one coming off as a bigot.

While there's issues in all genres, no genre is universally bad, though. And I know various other areas of music that have or have had comparably rabid followings. You're still generalizing while offering nothing to even justify your generalization and coming across as a bigot in the process.

This is how you get disturbed older women and impressionable young women to spend money on manufactured crap music. The guys that listen just agree with the lyrics.

you already know I'm really into oldschool blues and jazz. Son house, Blind Willie Johnson, Skip james, Charles Mingus, that kinda stuff.
And yeah, a lot of racists probably do find a lot of the subject matter pretty offensive, but frankly I think I'm fine with that. Racism is a choice, being female is not.

Beyond that, my tastes have gotten pretty stupidly fringe lately, and im not shy to admit. I listen to a lot of mashups and just complete nonsense music. Neil Cicierega, pepper in a few sea shanties, and some big iron shitposts. I like listening to solo guitarists like Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Michael Angelo Batio.

I was really into They Might Be Giants for a while, and I'm sure I will end up listening to them again from time to time.

I'm trying to find one that's overtly offense and I guess I used to kind of have a thing for George Corpsegrinder Fisher so I listened to a lot of Cannibal Corpse, Monstrosity and Paths of Possession, but I'm not really into most other metal so my interests end there. I guess if you wanna scrape the bottom of the barrel you could try to take some shots at ol' georgie, but the only people who really found him offensive are puritanical types

and again, I'm female, so the whole "gramps" thing should be grandma, if youre trying to get someone probably younger than you with the whole "ok boomer" schtick again.
