I remember up to the ds and even the 3ds, you could trade your blaziken from ruby on that little gba cartridge and have it in the DS pokemon games, and then even in X/Y. MJOLNRVII 09/24/21 4:50:06 PM #7:	Not totally on topic, but a cool part about ORAS that I didn't know until I got it was that there's one of those awards for a Pokemon you brought from OG Ruby/Sapphire. I think I got it on either my Blaziken or Swampert, but I just never considered them actually acknowledging it. You need an old DS with a GBA slot to transfer from gen 3 to gen 4 and a 3ds to serve as a second DS to transfer from gen 4 to gen 5 as well as use the Pokemon Transporter app to migrate to Bank which supports gen 6&7.
