Hexenherz 09/26/21 6:03:15 PM #12:	Still got my generic "Sony Smart TV" from like 2012, remote's kind of a pain to use since so many of the keys stick now but at least the fire stick remote can control it too. Machete 09/26/21 6:24:52 PM #15:	mine is 8 years old too. Still works mostly fine. Got a big darkspot in the lower left quadrant thanks to magnetism from AC unit (which can't be helped. I know it should be further away but I don't want to rearrange my entire apt) and a dead column (several pixels wide) but it's very far to the left and doesn't interfere. Can hook up laptop to it, which I like better than using a monitor even though color quality isn't as good. Apparently I can also hook headphones directly into TV because the cord is that long (helpful when watching netflix through cable instead of computer since TV isn't smart so it can't get netflix app... and just for watching regular TV beccause fan is loud and AC is even louder so if one of them is on, I would have to put the volume up super high and that is annoying) --- I do not receive notifications, so using the @ feature will not do anything.
