I've only been to a handful of live concerts/festivals in my life, and as far as drugs, at most I've done edibles for certain shows. However, I'm a massive Jon Hopkins fan, and several of the artists on the Second Sky lineup (including Porter Robinson, the headliner) are known for having live sets that are highly curated experiences that go beyond what you'd hear on the album. (Which was definitely the case) FWIW, Jon Hopkins' material does indeed sound good in quality headphones -- really masterful sound design on his last two albums especially --- "Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..." http://www.last.fm/user/kmal415 ... I saw Hopkins back in 2018 and this guy DJ Seinfeld opened for him -- his new album Mirrors is a seriously sweet vibe, highly recommend:
