My dad uses it all the time against corporations that give him trouble finding a human (like banks or phone companies). It seems like a sensible reply when you've got something like an overcharged bill that a low grunt can't take care of.

Me cc'ing the vice principal, principal and head of education in my reply:
'As outlined in the school policy regarding support of student devices not originating from the school, the IT department will not support these devices and if requested, a school laptop will be given'

B-but he can't install his chat app he needs for classwork!?

Me:
Yes, we don't support 3rd party software including discord. He may use Teams to contact his class

Parent:

Me forwarding it to the principal:
Handle this before I reply again and we get a lawsuit

This actually worked for me.

I wanted clothes that were on a mannequin and not anywhere else in the store. The regular employee wouldn't get them, so I found the manager and she did get them for me.
