Dallas shutting up all the idiots in the NY media suddenly spouting that the Giants are a playoff team after one win against a schizophrenic team. I'm ok with this. We know this team does not win. This is a core of players cut directly from the cloth of the Falcons, Lions, and Bungles. This is a GM that should've been fired a while ago. This is a coach who sounded really good in his first year who sounds like a blithering idiot this year. This team needs to rebuild almost from the ground up, again.

On a related note: There were so many Yankees fans, of all people, so desperate for the team to change that they didn't want them to make the playoffs at all - Not even the wild card game.

Chargers just missed a PAT and will most likely lose the game by 1.

Chargers decided to score a TD with 1:31 left instead of like, doing anything whatsoever to kill the clock from the Browns 3 with no Browns timeouts left. They then failed the 2-point conversion.

Terrible. Just terrible. You at the very least take a significant chunk of this clock off. You don't have to kick it, but you have to kill some clock.

The Browns once again proved they just couldn't finish a big game, and the Chargers basically just handed them another chance for no good reason because they can't either. They now lead by 5 and the Browns have plenty of time they shouldn't have to score a TD.

Win or lose, the coaching staff of the Chargers needs to be roasted for this.

I attended my first NFL game today

I got to witness 5 consecutive missed FGs in a span of 8 game minutes

That was an odd one!

Also Staley is a dude who completely understands the history of the Chargers. You never leave it to their kicker. If you can get a touchdown, you take a touchdown. They aren't easy.

Then you take two shots at a TD and kick it if you miss.

There is no justification for scoring that early in that situation.

I may have picked the Chargers but I was rooting against them the moment they gave the Browns that much time.

Giving a team that's been gutting you all game 1 1/2 minutes to do it again is tempting fate even more.

I'm not saying don't score a TD. I'm just saying scoring it on 1st down and leaving all that clock is a bad decision.

It is hard to imagine there isnt someone better than Sorenson that the Chiefs could find somewhere, anywhere to replace him.

he used to be a below average player who made 1 great play a game, now he makes 10 terrible plays a game and maybe 1 good play a month

I think it's more that Kansas City has become the biggest game on every team's schedule. Everyone gets amped up to play them and beat them now.

I hesitated to pick the Bills and then I hesitated to stay on them. Something just isn't working right for the Chiefs this year.

I've felt pretty good about the Bills all week. I think they might be the best team in the NFL. Like Saints/Packers, you might just have to throw out that week 1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Like, I get that they haven't played good teams and a lot of backup QBs in the last four weeks, but they've been crushing everyone since week 1.

Like, I get that they haven't played good teams and a lot of backup QBs in the last four weeks, but they've been crushing everyone since week 1.

For me this was more on the Chiefs. Something didn't feel quite right at many times last year but they kept finding ways to win anyway. Then the Super Bowl happened and all those little things that felt wrong all popped up together

Something just feels wrong about the Chiefs this year. I did think Buffalo was better, but I don't trust Buffalo to execute in this kind of Marquee game. This was more about just not trusting the Chiefs.

Dropped that 4th down pass. No excuse for that, even if the call saved it. Why isn't this team consistently executing this year? I thought maybe stomping the Eagles defense might give them a wakeup call.

And lack of trust is why I didn't consider taking the Browns.

I don't trust them to win a game like that. They had chances to close it out and they couldn't. That game may as well have gone as I expected.

See I didn't trust Buffalo either. If I felt the Chiefs were right I would've picked them. Going in against the Chiefs has been burning people for years.

Good enough to beat anyone only matters when you execute. The Browns had 42 points and were off of three straight TDs and couldn't pick up a single first down when the Chargers were practically handing them the game on the missed PAT. The Chargers then proceeded to run them over in less than a minute, gave them another opportunity, and watched them flounder again without really being threatened.

Until the Browns can actually beat a high quality team I'm not taking them to beat one.

Fix: There were 5 straight TD drives, but it was 3-2 Chargers in that run.
