I found it really hard to dodge the purple projectiles. I almost killed it the very first time I faced it. I got to the part where it transforms into the ~~X Parasite~~ or whatever, and I was shooting it and it recoiled once but then didn't recoil after and charged me and killed me which I wasn't expecting. The only boss who killed me more was ~~Kraid~~.
