Improvements
Not just marking things on the map, but the fact that the map is very detailed and indicates specific doors, and you can highlight all of a specific icon on the map. So after you get the charge beam you can just highlight all of the charge beam doors and easily find the ones you previously saw but couldn't access yet --- Ten sounds sound like bloated constipated arena rock - GhettoFlip ... The aesthetic is pretty great

My only worry is that I've heard from multiple people that they 100%'d it blind in under 10 hours.

Yeah, each area has a total item discovery percentage, and the map glows when there's an item that hasn't been found yet. I'm not very far, but I can see how it could make it easy to 100%.
