It's incredibly based imo. People shouldn't be selecting specific areas of investment for weird tax preferentiality. But I don't know how you get some countries to get on board with it. Like how do you get Ireland to give up their "tax haven" status and lose all that shit. Seems like it'd be difficult.

Well, also consider that if the company has to pay a 15% tax at the point of sale, that's revenue no longer going back to the country where they are located which means a reduction in taxes collected in said country. So for countries like Ireland it's going to be a 1-2 punch that could significantly hurt their economy.
