It's weird that they almost never mention the actual screen size increase, because that's what's much more noticeable the first time you use one. It's so much bigger.

I was hoping the OLED version had a more powerful processor, but from what I have read thus far it doesn't.

If you have a near launch model, or really any model from 2019 prior, this will have almost double the battery life. But that's the major difference in terms of hardware that you'll notice.

I thought it was the same size? JUst more screen and less bezel (IE: The Giant Black Border around the screen on the normal switch has some of it swapped for more screen now)

Meaning the actual console borders are the same, and its the same joycons..

So am i missing something?

The actual build quality of the Switch OLED is quite a bit better than the original Switch. The screen is glass, and the body is glossy metal. The back is still plastic but feels sturdier.

Theyve changed the plug once, from 30pin to lightning which is usually what people are referencing.

They generally keep backwards compatibility on things for many many years. Watch bands for example, have been backwards compatible all the way from the new watches now to the first.

I suppose im glad i couldnt get that one in my country and had to get another one.. where it can slide a bit left and right when attached (has sorta like hooks on the top and bottom (2 each 4 total) to hold the console with some extra space for the joycons)

Not that im getting an OLED model unless my current one break, otherwise im just waiting for the proper successor.

I feel like I'm the one one who mentions this - the default color saturation is really too much.

It's just so oversaturated, and I say this as someone who usually loves that garish, oversaturated "Samsung Phone" look.

I'm so glad Nintendo lets you change it to a more color accurate setting, but it'd be nice if they put it in an easier location to find.

Despite keeping roughly the same dimensions for its phones for years, do they not change the dimensions ever so slightly for every phone so that cases no longer fit?

The extra battery life is good, I was just hoping for an upgrade in processing power.

It's a different material they use for the unit so that's probably why it's a millimetre thicker.
